Anaconda Community Intervention, Inc. (ACI) is a nonprofit organization that works closely with various groups to reduce substance abuse and underage drinking through a variety of methods. These include chemical-free events, education, motivational speakers, leadership workshops for youth, and general student involvement.

This Giving Tuesday, we are asking for donations to help fund our annual summer camp. Camp H2O (Healthy Habit Outcomes) is an annual summer camp for students in grades sixth through eighth. It is a one-of-a-kind experience for students. Hosted locally on nearby Georgetown Lake, participants take part in education and skill enhancing workshops, team building exercises, rapport strengthening games, and outdoor recreation. Camp is staffed by a team of engaged adults, but the heart and soul of it is with our high school aged co-counselors. They provide most of the planning for activities and events over the two-and-a-half-day adventure. Over the last five years, it has served approximately one hundred different junior high students and approximately forty different high school students.
