Join the Friends of the Library support Summer Reading 2021. This program has had to alter it's curriculum and the way the progam is run during the COVID pandemic. If summer 2021 is the same, more books for each child are needed for Virtual program. If we are back to normal the program has had good growth up to summer of 2020 and we hope to be able to have a morning and afternoon session each a day of the program.
The 122 year old building has several projects to help maintain its viability. Last year, a new roof. In recent years, a new fire suppression system and a security system upgrade. The Friends have donated, with your help, to these major projects each year. Next year - fixing the marble steps on the 4th street side of the building.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping us meet our goal
for Friends of the Hearst Free Library.
